Elizabeth May, O.C. "The Power Working in Us"

St. Philip's Centennial Speaker Series launches with an address by the Honourable Elizabeth May, M.P.  A member of the Order of Canada and an Anglican, Elizabeth May is known for her work as an author, lawyer, parliamentarian, environmentalist, and governmental policy advisor. A lifelong environmental advocate, she directed the Sierra Club of Canada for 17 years and was involved in the founding of Gwaii Haanas National Park.  Elizabeth May is co-leader of the Green Party of Canada.

Tickets are $30.00 + $3.28 fee for adults (26 and up). All proceeds go to charities: Apathy is Boring and Help Lesotho.
