Our caretaker Francis was born and raised in Vancouver and spent ten years living in Toronto.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art and Socio-cultural Anthropology from the University of British Columbia in 2015. He has experience in residential and commercial construction, visual art education, restaurant and hospitality work, and is trained as a finishing carpenter and painter. Francis has many and varied interests, and especially loves to grow organic vegetables and medicinal plants, bake sourdough bread, hike local trails with his partner Micaela, and cook good food.
Francis currently sits on the board of the Metro Vancouver Alliance as a faith representative and also serves on council of Salal & Cedar Watershed Discipleship. He is also working on an Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree at the Vancouver School of Theology.
