The Phantom of the Opera

When do laughs and popcorn meet 90 minutes of tremendous organ accompaniment? When Michael Murray pulls out all the stops to perform the musical sound scape to The Phantom of the Opera, the 1925 vintage silent film with Lon Chaney. Michael performed the feat on two successive evenings over Hallowe'en weekend, Oct 27 & 28, to the delight of his audience.

"I heard that it was fantastic! Sorry I missed it. Fingers crossed that it will be on next year!" wrote one frequent writer the next day on Next Door. Good news travels.
