Palm Sunday to Easter
Palm Sunday – April 10, 10:00 am
The people, choir, and clergy gather in the parish hall to begin the service and will process to the church for a festive Eucharist complete with a bag-piped procession of palms.
Maundy Thursday – April 14, 6:00 pm
We will gather in the Fireside Room for a simple soup supper, a recollection of the Passover story, and the memorial rite of foot-washing. We’ll then proceed to the church for the Eucharist and the stripping of the altar and chancel. If you’d like to come for the service rather than the supper, plan to arrive at the church at 6:45-7:00 pm to join in—you’re very welcome to do so as your schedule permits.
Good Friday – April 15, 12:00 noon
A contemplative memorial of Christ’s passion and death, filled with hope and beautiful music.
Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil – April 16, 8:00 pm ·
Join us for a candle-lit service of joy and sound, recounting and celebrating the history of salvation of God’s people and the joy of the resurrected Christ.
Easter Sunday: The Resurrection of the Lord – April 17, 10:00 am
Come to St. Philip’s for a festive explosion of joy and worship with St. Philip’s chancel choir, energetic hymns, magnificent organ music, and a brass ensemble as we celebrate Jesus’ rising to life.
