On Saturday Dec 20 at 7:00 pm, A Christmas Carol will be read by Dan Burritt, Charlie Demers, Christopher Gaze and others bringing to life Charles Dickens' story of a lonely miser who is forced to face the forces of love, loss and loneliness. Enjoy carols, live sound effects, and warm cheer.

Dan Burritt returns to read and shares his favourite part of the tale in the download movie clip below. Scroll waaay down.

Christopher Gaze is back, and Charlie Demers is excited that he's returning for the third consecutive year.

Tickets and kids' seats have sold out. Thank you to our ticket buyers!

A Christmas Carol (1843) has long been performed as a reading (since first in 1849 by Dickens himself), a Christmas tradition of one lonely man's transformation from miserable miser towards empathy, reconnection, and love for his fellow man.

The Plum in the Pudding? $4650 from these ticket sales, plus any cash donations at the door, go to help St Philip's parishioners supply grocery gift cards to local families facing food insecurity. Elementary School social support workers know which families in their schools would most benefit from a helping hand. Outreach volunteers buy and deliver grocery cards to four elementary schools in time for the winter holidays, and again in the new year. The more we raise, the more we can give.

This is a project that Charles Dickens would be proud to support.
