Strength in Communion focuses on the generous gifts that parishioners choose to share with St Philip's in 2026.
This year, there are two pledge forms for you to consider and return to the church: a financial pledge and a pledge of your time and talent.
We ask you to make a financial pledge to St Philip's every year: the church depends on your generosity to prepare its budget for 2026 and plan ahead.
This year, we have also invited you to pledge time, which you already do freely. By filling out the pledge of time, we have a record of these special gifts that we depend on so much every year. You may also have chosen a new area or two in which you'd like to volunteer your time, and we will follow up with you re your choices.
This year, there is also the option to offer a sabbath rest from volunteering if that fits your life best right now.
The Pledge Leaflet is below for you to download and print at home. Please find the cover letter from Rev Anne, the Stewardship thoughts, and the two pledge forms attached. Print the forms at home or pick some up at church. Thank you for returning your pledge forms by Nov 2: most have been returned. If yours has not, please fill it in and commit to what you can share this coming year.
On November 2, we held the Commitment Sunday parish lunch, a happy celebration and potluck lunch together in the gym. We even sang together Craig Wilson's Centennial Song for St Philip's. Thank you for the wonderful food and fellowship that we all shared that day.
