At this service, we remember the men and women who give so much to end wars. We will hear a hymn about war in Ukraine, composed by a Ukrainian who fled with his wife to Canada, where we are blessed to live in peace. Ukrainian singers will sing the hymn with our choir. Our Scouts will attend in uniform with their families, present their colours, play the Last Post and Reveille, read a poem written by a young Scout, and lay a wreath in honour of the sacrifice of those who fought and died in wars abroad. We pray for peace.
